
HSE Researchers Receive Grants in Russian Science Foundation Competitions
The Russian Science Foundation announced the results of its 2019 competitions for support from the Presidential Research Project Programme. One competition was for grants in support of research initiatives by early career researchers, and another was in support of research conducted by research groups headed by early career scholars.
‘Game Theory Teaches an Understanding of Opponents’ Behaviour’
The first student contest in game theory has taken place at HSE. Organized by the HSE Group of Young Academic Professionals, it brought together 150 undergraduate and Master’s students from 17 Russian universities, as well as one high school student from Moscow.
Fair Science
On October 20-22, 2016 the Laboratory of Game Theory and Decision Making organized a School on Computational Social Choice and Fair Division. After two introductory lectures by the HSE professors Anna Bogomolnaia and Hervé Moulin, the School offered courses of three worldwide experts in the field.

Professor and President
In the end of July it became officially known that the academic supervisor of the International Laboratory of Game Theory and Decision Making, Professor Hervé Moulin, was elected as Vice President of the International Game Theory Society (GTS).
Leading Game Theorists are Guests of HSE
On May 23 and 24, 2016 the Game Theory Laboratory of the HSE St Petersburg held its first international conference entitled "Game Theory and Mechanism Design", in memory of the late Victor Domanskiy.
New HSE Laboratory Seeks to Become Leading Game Theory Research Centre
At the beginning of the current academic year, the International Laboratory of Game Theory and Decision Making opened at HSE St. Petersburg. Its launch marked a significant milestone in the university’s development, as the lab gathered internationally recognized scholars and representatives of the Russian Academy of Science.
