Workshop "Game Theory, Mechanism Design and Market Equilibria"

On April 8, 2016 the workshop organized by the International Laboratory of game theory and decision-making was held. The event brought together researchers interested in social choice, mechanism design and other fields which are close to the research interests of the laboratory.

The event was attended by over 20 people, among which, in addition to the speakers and the laboratory of game theory staff were researches from HSE Center for Market Studies and Spatial Economics (Moscow), guests from other research centers of Saint Petersburg, as well as students of HSE and other universities. Speakers shared with the audience their latest achievements and results. Each report has caused heated discussion, exchange of views and experience, which continued after the official end of the event.

As a result, the main goal of the workshop was reached - new connections for future cooperation of the research centers were established, new purposes and aims for the research were set. The basis for the future collaboration in the development of the mechanism design and the models of market equilibrium was estblished.
