Research seminar on November 18, 2016

We invite everyone to attend a research seminar on economics, where a report "On the problem of fair division rents" will be presented. The event will take place on November 18, 2016 at 16:50 at  3A Kantemirovskaya, room 257.

We will discuss the article "Which is the fairest rent division of them all?" by Y. Gal, M. Mash, A. Procaccia and Y. Zick. It discusses the problem of fair division of rents between several tenants in a multiroom apartment. Rooms are different, and tenants have different preferences concerning the rooms. The fairness criterion is the criterion of lack of envy: with account of rooms costs no tenant does not want to change room with anyone else.

The aim of the seminar is to discuss the work in progress, yours and others ideas, which can be interesting.
If you want to give a talk at the future seminars, please, contact Fedor Sandomirskiy: sandomirski@yandex.ru, +7(921)633-23-53
